How billing works

What counts as a protected agent action?

One action equals one brokerage event: a prompt evaluation, tool or API call, database access, or final response that Lineation brokers and protects. Internal chain-of-thought loops are not billed.

What happens if I exceed my action quota?

Paid plans allow overage at published rates: $0.0005/action on Growth, $0.0004 on Team, and from $0.00035 on Enterprise (customized per contract). On-prem Enterprise can be unlimited.

Do I need an annual contract?

Growth and Team are available monthly. Enterprise and scale deployments require a minimum annual contract. Heavy compliance workflows or custom legal terms qualify for Enterprise only.

Can I start free and upgrade later?

Yes. Start on Free or the Growth trial, then move to Team when you need multi-environment coverage, lineage views, and unlimited trust reports. Policies port with you.
